[Sword Burn (incomplete2)]

That was very well done

That was a very good flash, I have a huge ammount of respect for people who do frame by frame animations. Obviously it would be nive if you could make the characters more detailed/coloured and have a background, but its really not that important, I am very impressed, congratulations on a good flash, I shall be looking out for the finished version, and anything else you do in the future.

Decent effort

Not a bad movie, but it was only really one joke, though I did like the "your computer can't take..." joke, especially as its a cheeky way to get out of doign any real work, though the movie was missing a few details that would have really made it that much better, like how the text just scrolled up, rather than away from the camera, not a bad job, but next time you should spend more effort on the animation to do your ideas justice. I'm sure if you wanted to you could make a classic flash animation, you just need better animation, and make it slightly longer. Well done nonetheless, and I hope you continue developing your skill.

[The ultimate short!]

It wasn't bad

I really liked the style, the drawing and backgrounds looked good, but I think I can offer you two tips. Firstly, don't call your film "the ultimate short" it will just make you seem arrogant, and thus people will start watching the film wanting to prove that this is not the greatest short, and you will end up getting a lower mark for it, and secondly the web is full of animations with people fighting for no reason, don't get me wrong, yours looks nice, but I've seen too many to remember yours. Try doing something new, something that isn't just two people having a fight, personally I would prefer you to make a short that is 90% plot driven, but if you really want to make a fight scene, give ti some story, and not the usual... you stepped on ym foot, so we shall fight to the death crap, have a proper plot. Do that and I'm sure you can go a long way. I wish you luck with your future ventures.

Very well done

I really enjoyed that, you obviously put alot of time and effort into that, and it shows. The graphics were rather inconsistant though, somethings looked very nice, but other times it didn't look quite so nice, though I can't blame you, I know how difficult it is to keep consistant with such an ambitious project. The only other downfall were that there were periodic breaks in the sound, though thats just me nit picking, otherwise it was a very good job, and you should be very pleased with it.

Thanks for the comment. Sorry about the inconsistant quality. I was spending more time on some scenes than others trying to go over some of the animation, quality and music sync. ill put more into the post production next time. Thanks for the comment!

It was good but...

I think that it was a nice idea, and very stylised, to me though it just felt a little soul less. You are obviously very good with 3D work, but you dont seem to be quite as high a level at flash itself, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you're bad at flash, but you used the program just to squish a load of 3D characters in. It should have been a very good flash, the mood was right, the style was good, but it just didn't quite have the charm or heart for me. A good job none the less though, and I feel I'm dwelling too much on very much personal problems with it. Keep trying, I'm sure that someone with your obvious talent is soon to nail it eventually.

Hopefully, I will. The style changes a bit in episode 3 (hopefully not in a bad way for anyone who likes the current one), so maybe you'll view it when I finish those and let me know if you think it's better. Thanks for the review.

Nice piece of flash

I enjoyed that, even though I'm usually bored by the various "lots of deaths" flash animations out there, I'd like to see what you could do with something a bit more ambitious though, for example the frog-troll thing shows promise of good cartoon making abilities. I shall be looking out for your next work, well done, and keep it up.
